In recent days, the main social networks have enabled several new features that can be used in your Digital Marketing strategy. I prepared a compilation with the main information about each of them, check it out!
Facebook – See competitor ads
Seeking to offer more transparency, Facebook launched a tool that gives access to more information about pages and ads. It is now possible to see active ads on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger from any page on the platform. To do this, simply access a page and select “information and announcements” in the menu on the left. You can also have more data about the page, such as a recent name change and the date it was created. Other information will also be available soon.
Other new features are still being tested by the platform: the De Cell Number possibility of cross-posting on Facebook and Instagram and a paid subscription program that allows administrators to create and manage separate groups, just for subscribers, and charge members a monthly fee for access to exclusive content. However, they still do not have a release date for all users.
WhatsApp – More organized groups
The messenger has already been implementing changes to groups to make them more organized, in May it added the possibility of adding a description, gave more power to administrators, added “Stay on top” (which helps you know when someone mentioned or replied to you) and the search for participants.

Now a new group setting allows only administrators to send messages. In other words, groups that activate this function will be used more for monitoring promotions, announcements and important information. To activate this setting, open "Group Data", tap "Settings/Group Settings" > "Send Messages" and select "Admins Only".
